The LVBP this season will be called "Liga PDVSA"

The juggling that the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) has had to carry out to complete the 2017-2018 season does not stop surprising its fans and, this Friday, it was confirmed that, for this season, the league will have a new name, thanks to a heavy sponsorship: PDVSA League, Maltín Polar Cup in honor of Rubén Mijares.
